I went on a trip to swedish lapland in my midterm holidays. I just loved it there!!, we hitchhiked from the south (and took trains & busses) all the way up north to umea and then west, to a little village called ekkorsele, where we stayed for a week at a husky farm

. The Roads, like the one on the picture are really icy, and the locals drive about 120km/h on them

, luckily they have spiketires

*EDIT: i uploaded them both, so no-one misses the desat, so no crits are lost

Hehe, funny and great. I like color version since it is more contrasted, maybe i would do partial desaturation and leave traffic-sign in colors only

the sign warns of reindeers, not mooses

oh well it was from Sweden, they might have their signs messed up

but I think that's about reindeers as Lapland is full of them

Nicely done, agree about the selective desaturation version being the stronger of the two. If sign was not off kilter it just wouldn't carry the same presence. A well taken shot.
